A different sort of Christmas 2008

Is that a Christmas tree for real? Well, it isn't real and it isn't the traditional pine tree but it works! Thanks to Calista's creativity. I fully planned on getting a tree but then "things" happened - like a severly sprained ankle and we were getting ready to leave for Colorado where we would spend Christmas so outwent the idea of the traditional tree. Yet, I couldn't quite "not" have a tree and was really bugging me so this is what Calista came up with - we decorated the fake bamboo tree. It served it's purpose well!
